Home isn't so bad

About to embark on a really long backpacking trip with a little friend that inspires me to live big.  Currently, I am spending some time at home in San Diego before we head down to Latin America, watching as many sunsets/rises as I can!

Day of Doon

I recently had the beautiful opportunity to photograph at Day of Doon, Bonny Doon Cellar Door's annual lovefest in San Juan Bautista.  The best company and food, combined with a unique location! Here are a few photos from the event...

CATSCAPES GALLERY OPENING!

Tuesday, March 15th was a very important day in the feline community: Incredibly talented photographer Cadence Chinle and I opened a gallery exhibition titled "Catscapes: A Meow from Around the Globe", depicting varying travel landscapes across several continents through the similar furry facet of feline.

Thank you to all who supported us at the opening! Special thanks to Ari Bittman (for always meowing with me), Sergi Sánchez (for continuing support through the project and for helping us set-up) and Raphael Villet (for immense creativity in helping title our event).

A few of the photos in the exhibit:

Ephesus, Turkey (2,000 year old ruins off the Aegean coast)

Chefchaouen, Morocco (a bright blue gem in the middle of nowhere, Atlas Mountains, Morocco)

Cinque Terre, Italia (best focaccia that taste buds can handle)

One of 10,000 reasons to wake up at sunrise

I am in search of more crazies that want to do this on a (semi-)regular basis. The lighting is magnificent and being the first people at Lulu's in the morning is a feeling that you don't get too often.

I wanna spend more mondays like this.

The amazingly beautiful Jaclyn Taylor.

Photos were done for Jaclyn's senior recital on April 3rd! Go see it...This girl can sing!
